Painting How-To
Paint the door panels a light color; allow dry. With a ruler, find the middle of each board. Mark that point using a pencil, then draw a vertical line and horizontal line through the point. Using 1-inch painter's tape, put a 1-inch diamond square at the middle. Then, together with your pencil lines as a guide, tape off additional diamond squares so they are equidistant from one another. Repeat for each panel. Paint the panels and the remaining portion of the door a dark shade. Peel off the tape while the paint is still slightly moist.
